Workplace Mental Health

Programme introduction /

Workplace mental health is shaped by everyday experiences: workload, role clarity, working relationships, and whether people feel able to raise concerns. When pressures go unspoken or conversations are met with judgement, employees may find it harder to seek support and teams can struggle to respond constructively. Building awareness helps organisations create a shared language for discussing wellbeing with respect, care, and appropriate boundaries.

Workplace Mental Health helps participants explore how to recognise work-related pressures, have supportive conversations, and contribute to a more considerate working environment. Through practical scenarios and guided discussion, participants practise listening without making assumptions, respecting privacy, and understanding how to connect someone with the organisation's established support channels. They also reflect on working habits, team expectations, and opportunities to raise concerns constructively. The focus is on awareness, supportive communication, and shared responsibility for a workplace where people feel heard and know where to turn for help.

Planning your programme

Can the programme be customised?

Yes. We begin with a discussion of your business priorities and capability gaps, then adapt examples, exercises and case discussions to your team’s context. The final scope is agreed in your proposal.

How many people can attend?

Share your expected participant count and their roles when you enquire. We will recommend a group size and facilitation approach suited to the activities and learning objectives, and confirm these in the proposal.

Where will the training take place?

Tell us your preferred location and whether you have a training room. Venue, equipment, delivery format and any associated costs are agreed before booking.

How do I request an outline or proposal?

Use “Request course outline” on this page. The enquiry form will include the programme name. Add your participant count, preferred dates and the workplace challenge you want the training to address.

Is HRD Corp funding automatic?

No. Eligibility depends on the employer, the registered programme, grant approval and the applicable HRD Corp requirements. Confirm the specific programme and grant conditions before booking; claimable does not guarantee approval or reimbursement.

Check the current HRD Corp Claimable Courses requirements before confirming your training arrangements.
